Early Life
Binny's parents are both singers. He grew up listening to Ghazals with his father and Bhajans and folk songs with his mother.
He performed his first stage show at the age of 4. He formally took up classical vocal training at the age of 7 under his Guru Suketu Thakar in Bharuch.

He is academically a Science Graduate with a Master's in Mass Communication.
Career
Early in his career, Binny participated in a reality television show Channel (V) Popstars II. He also worked as a Radio Jockey at one of the Ahmedabad's popular radio stations 94.3 My FM in the year 2007 hosting a Show "MY WORLD".
He performed Cafe gigs in Ahmedabad & Mumbai at the beginning of his career.
He then started performing solo acoustic sets as well as Band gigs. He then went on and performed alongside head line ups like Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Sonu Nigam, Atif Aslam, Arijit Singh, Shaan, Alisha Chinoy, Guru Randhawa, Mika Singh, Anushka Manchanda, Euphoria.
